  • Press the Ctrl + Shift + Esc keys together to launch the Task Manager window.

  • Thereafter, click on the End Task button to end the processes.

  • From the LAN Settings window, untick the Automatically detect settings option and then click on the OK button to save the changes.

  • Once the repair process is done, reboot the device and then open the Steam application.

  • Now Steam will begin verifying all the files. If you find that any files are missing or corrupted then download them.
  • Now, go to the Settings section and then select the Downloads tab on the left panel. 
  • In that tab, click on the Steam Library Folders. Here all the Steam files will be listed 
  • Right-click on it and then choose the Repair Library Files button from the menu list. 
  • Once done, restart Steam and then check if it solves the problem or not. 

Method 9 – Reinstall Steam
