Disable Peer-To-Peer Update

  1. Press the Windows logo key and ‘R’ together to run the search box.
  2. Type ‘Contol Update’ in the search box and press ‘Enter.’
  3. Select ‘Advanced options’ and choose ‘Delivery Optimization’ from the drop-down menu.
  4. Turn off the option ‘Allow downloads from other PCs’.

Reset The Internet Bandwidth Settings

  1. Press Ctrl+Shift+Esc to open the Task Manager.
  2. Click ‘File’ and select ‘Run New Task.’
  3. Type gpedit.msc in the box that appears for the new task.
  4. Check the box for ‘Create this task with administrative privileges.’
  5. Go to ‘Computer Configuration’ then double-click on ‘Administrative Templates’ and choose QoS Paket Scheduler.  
  6. Double-click on ‘Limit Reservable Bandwidth’ to enable this feature.
  7. Set the Bandwidth limit to zero and apply it to your Windows.

Update WiFi/Network Drivers

Turn Off Windows Auto-Tuning

  1. Press the Windows logo key and type ‘cmd’.
  2. Right-click on the ‘Command Prompt’ and ‘run as administrator’.
  3. Then type netsh interface TCP show global into the window and press ‘Enter’.
  4. If the ‘Receive Window Auto-Tuning level’ is set to normal, then you need to disbale it.
  5. To disable it, type netsh int TCP set global autotuninglevel=disabled into the Window and press ‘Enter’.

Open your browser once again and try to open a website. If the browser is still taking time to load the site, then move on to the next method.

Disable Large Send Offload

  1. Press Windows logo key and ‘R’ simultaneously.
  2. Copy and paste devmgmt.msc in the search box and press ‘Enter’.
  3. Double-click on ‘Network Adapters’ and select the network adapter you use.
  4. Click ‘Advanced’ and select ‘Large Send Offload V2(IPv4) to set its value to ‘Disable’.
  5. Click ‘Ok’ to save the changes.
