    • net start bits
    • net start msiserver
  5. Finally, restart your device. After that, try to upgrade to Windows 10 once again to check if the problem has been resolved.

Procedure 3 : Expand the Reserved Partition

A low disc storage space can cause the windows error 0xc1900200 on your system. This can occur due to a small reserved partition. However, you can easily expand it by following the steps given below. 

  1. Press the Windows Key and R key together to open the Run dialogue box. Type ‘diskmgmt.msc’ there and select OK. This will launch the Disk Management Tool.
  2. Here, select C: Drive and find the Partition Map. Right-click on the first one, which is a 100 MB Partition the select Change the Drive Letters and Paths.
  3. Then, go to Start and type cmd. Select Run as Administrator after right-clicking on cmd. Thereafter, enter these commands as given below and execute them one by one. 
    1. takeown /f . /r /d y
    2. icacls . /grant administrators:F /t <see note below>
    3. attrib -h -s -r bootmgr
  4. Next, type the following commands in the same place:
    1. on Windows 8 and above: chkdsk Y: /F /X /sdcleanup /L:5000
    2. on Windows 7: chkdsk Y: /F /X /L:5000
    3. This method will free the NTFS log to 5MB and there will be much space for the installation process. Now check if the error is gone.
