By Setting the Phone To Airplane Mode For Few Seconds

To set the phone to the Airplane mode follow the steps:

For Android

  1. At first, pull the notification bar down.
  2. Then select the Áirplane Mode or Flight mode for 15 to 20 seconds.
  3. After 15 to 20 seconds turn the Airplane or Flight mode off.

For iOS

  1. Open the ‘Settings’ on the iPhone.
  2. After that, choose the option Airplane mode to activate it.
  3. Then after 20 seconds turn off the Airplane mode.

Restarting The Phone And The Router

If there are some issues with the phone and the router then you can restart it. Follow the steps to restart the phone and the router:

  1. At first restart the phone.
  2. Then press the ‘Windows’ logo key and the letter ‘R’ together from the keyboard.

Setting The WPA2-PSK

To set the WPA2-PSK, go through these steps:

  1. At first, go to the ‘Router web interface’.
  2. Then check for the ‘Wireless Security Settings’ under ‘Security or WLAN’.
  3. Now check whether the ‘Encryption Mode’ is set to ‘AES’.
  4. Next, open the ‘Settings’ on your phone.
  5. Then choose the option ‘Wi-Fi’.
  6. Now press and hold the network which is not connecting.
  7. Next, select the option ‘Forget Network’ to remove it.
  8. Now select that network.
  9. Then provide the ‘password’ to connect it again.

 

By Turning The Mac Filter Off

To turn the Mac filter off follow the steps:

  1. At first, go to the ‘Router web interface’.
  2. Then select the tab ‘Security’.
  3. Now check whether the ‘Enable MAC Filter’ box is unchecked and the ‘Filter Mode’ is ‘Blacklisted’.
  4. Next, select the option ‘Save’ to save and continue.
  5. Now select and open the ‘Settings’ application on the Android phone.
  6. Then choose the ‘Wi-Fi’ from the list to open it.
  7. Now press and hold the network which is not connecting.

 

Assigning A Static IP Address

  1. Open the ‘Settings’ applications on the phone.
  2. Then select the option ‘Wi-Fi’ from the list.
  3. Now select and hold the network which is having the problem.
  4. Next select ‘Modify Network’.
  5. Now check if the box beside the ‘Show Advanced Options’ is checked.
  6. Then change the ‘IP settings’ to ‘Static’.
  7. After that click on ‘Save’ to save the changes.
